art-pro-audio-usb-dual-pre-251604
USB Dual Pre

A portable format within the ART range

Designed as a simple and reliable tool, the ART USB Dual Pre fits the brand's "studio utility" spirit: straightforward with clear connectivity, a compact format, and quick setup. It is positioned as a dual preamp with integrated USB interface, ideal when you want to record without multiplying devices, whether at home, rehearsal, or on the go.

For whom and for what uses in studio and mobility

This audio interface / preamp is aimed at musicians, home studio users, content creators, and technicians who need a lightweight and easy-to-transport solution. It is well suited for recording vocals and instruments one source at a time, but also for small stereo or two-channel setups (for example two mics, or mic plus instrument), with a simple output to speakers, a mixer, or a monitoring system.

Thanks to its power options, the USB Dual Pre is also relevant for situations where mains power is not always available. This way, you maintain a coherent recording chain to capture an idea, rehearsal, interview, or demo, with minimal bulk.

USB conversion and dual combo inputs: a simple and efficient chain

Two channels to organize your recordings

The 2 combo XLR / 6.35 mm jack inputs allow connecting sources via XLR or jack connectors interchangeably. This is a real advantage for quickly adapting your setup according to available gear (mic, instrument, line output, etc.). The stated frequency response (20 Hz to 20 kHz) covers the entire useful spectrum for versatile recordings, from bass to the highest treble, whether you work with vocals, guitar, keyboard, or various sources.

Conversion focused on efficiency

With a 16-bit resolution and selectable sampling rates at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz, the USB Dual Pre targets ease of integration and compatibility for common projects: demos, voice-overs, podcasts, idea captures, or quick recordings. This "essential" approach facilitates startup and limits unnecessary adjustments, while maintaining a clear technical foundation for clean recording and editing.

Outputs designed to integrate with various setups

On the output side, you have 2 x 6.35 mm jack outputs and a 3.5 mm mini-jack output. This combination allows easy connection to monitoring speakers, a mixer, or other audio equipment, while keeping a mini-jack output option for more "universal" listening and connection needs.

Flexible power supply for field use

The ART USB Dual Pre can be powered via USB bus, by 9 V battery, or via power adapter (sold separately). This versatility is a strong point if you alternate between a fixed workstation and mobile recordings: you keep the same interface and connection logic regardless of the context.

Technical specifications

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Model

ART USB Dual Pre

Output impedance

600 ?
