bach-k349-mega-tone-5c-argentee-cornet-97625
K349 Méga Tone - 5C Silver-Plated (Cornet)

Vincent Bach: Excellence in Service of Brass Instruments

Born from the experience of Vincent Bach, musician and engineer, the brand was built around a simple idea: to offer consistent, reliable, and musical mouthpieces. Since 1918, mouthpiece manufacturing has been the starting point of a reputation that later extended to instruments. Even today, Bach mouthpieces remain a benchmark for their manufacturing consistency and their ability to meet very specific needs for comfort and sound.

Who Is This Mega Tone Mouthpiece For?

This Bach Mega Tone is aimed at musicians from intermediate to professional level seeking stable support, solid intonation, and controlled response in dynamics. It is particularly suitable for contexts where a present but dense sound is desired: classical repertoire, ensembles, section playing, studio work, or situations requiring a wide dynamic palette.

Sound and Design

With its increased mass, the Mega Tone promotes a darker timbre, a more "settled" projection, and a sensation of stability in sound production. The medium-depth cup contributes to a good balance between ease, controlled brightness, and harmonic richness. The moderately wide rim, well-rounded both inward and outward, limits edge sensations and provides comfortable contact, useful for strong lips or long playing sessions. The result: a bright and rich sound, with intonation reported as extremely stable.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

For compatibility reasons (shank, instrument, case), no accessories are recommended without confirmation of the exact model of your instrument and your usual measurements.

Technical specifications

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Cup depth

Medium

Finishing

Silver

Color

Grey

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Cup diameter

16.25 mm

Intonation

extremely stable

Weight

more than twice the weight of a standard BACH mouthpiece (Mega Tone)

Product subject to a specific right of withdrawal

for hygiene reasons, if the product has been opened, it must show no signs of use to be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Dynamic range

greater, without distortion

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0984/0872/6803/files/0fddb2ea4d63458e3b08922985da9eb493816d8c_GW_349MEGA.jpg?v=1793382323
