Inspired by Fabienne Verdier's pictorial series \"Énergie blanche,\" the piece transposes into music the idea of a luminous vitality inhabiting a vast, distant, almost motionless space.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThroughout seven movements, the writing explores the timbral richness of string instruments: unsettling glissandi in the low registers, mysterious pulsation of the double bass, undulations that rise and unfold, chaotic particles and turbulences, then moments of suspension where voices gather into a common breath.
