With its.060 low string, it provides excellent tension on the bass strings, limits the "floppy" effect in drop tuning, and maintains a consistent feel for power playing, palm muting, and big bends (more physical but more controlled).

The XL Nickel Wound Sound: Bright, Precise, Versatile

Very popular among electric guitarists, the XL nickel wound strings are made from a nickel-plated steel wire, precisely wound around a carbon steel core. The result: a bright and defined tone, excellent chord clarity, and a balanced response that works well on rock/metal style guitars as well as more versatile setups. If you're looking for strings that "cut" through the mix while remaining musical, this set is a safe bet.

Technical
