Designed to support musicians daily, this set emphasizes consistency, longevity, and excellent value for money, which explains why Prelude is often recommended in music schools.

Who is it for? An ideal set for steady progress

This string set is primarily aimed at beginner to intermediate violists who want a reliable, easy-to-control, and homogeneous setup. The Medium tension is particularly suitable for regular practice sessions, allowing good note sustain, more stable intonation, and a natural playing feel. It is well suited for study repertoire, classical music, ensembles, and orchestra, with a bow response that facilitates articulation and bowing changes.

Sound characteristics

Thanks to their pure steel core, Prelude strings offer a clear attack and an immediate response, especially appreciated for working on intonation and rhythmic precision. Their sound personality aims for a warm and centered output for a study string, with good stability over time. Another major advantage: their low sensitivity to temperature and humidity changes helps maintain a more consistent instrument, which is valuable when traveling, in the classroom, or during rehearsals.

Recommended compatible accessories

To preserve the lifespan of your strings and maintain comfortable playability, a good quality rosin and a soft cloth to wipe the strings after each session are highly recommended. These accessories are universal and perfectly suited for use with steel strings.

Technical
