The EQPB2 fits this logic: a simple, reliable, and consistent accessory designed to extend the life of your bass drumhead while maintaining a natural playing feel.

Who This Drum/Patch Is For

The EVANS EQPB2 is aimed at drummers from beginner to expert levels who play double pedal and seek durable protection without altering their sound. It is particularly suited to styles demanding power and consistency (metal, rock, hardcore), but remains relevant whenever heavy striking accelerates head wear.

Features and Innovations

Made from flexible black anti-slip nylon, this patch reinforces the impact zone and stabilizes beater contact. Its design is intended to absorb the attack while preserving sustain and low frequencies, ensuring a balanced acoustic and miked sound.

Sound

The EQPB2 acts as an attack control: the strike gains softness and control without "muffling" the bass drum. The bass remains present and the response retains its dynamics, allowing protection of the head while keeping a coherent and usable sound for rehearsals, studio, or live performance.

Technical specifications

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Category

Bass drum

Color

Black

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0984/0872/6803/files/84aa91718b14ab5b416a07c5fb3de4a33222ab19_EVANS_DRUMHEADS_EQPB2.jpg?v=1792561715
