While other models in the range favor a warmer, rounder tone, this version with thick brass emphasizes high-frequency response, precision, and projection. It is a snare drum designed for situations where a present, articulate, and immediately readable sound is required without having to force the stroke.

Intended Users

This snare drum is particularly aimed at intermediate to expert drummers seeking a bright and "mix-cutting" sonic signature. The tone is precise and well-defined, with a pronounced presence in the upper spectrum, without sounding muffled or forced.

The gradually tensioned coated cable snares contribute to a clean and even response across the entire surface, with sensitivity useful for subtle nuances. Paired with Remo Diplomat Renaissance heads, the snare gains texture and control: the output remains articulate, with a slightly "vintage" musicality in the grain, while retaining the typical brightness and precision of brass.
