Recognisable by its broad response and enveloping vibration, it has established itself in ritual practices as well as in contemporary wellness, sound relaxation and music-making environments. This 60 cm format offers an excellent balance between depth, ease of playing and reasonable space requirements.

This Mantra version reflects a more visual and contemplative interpretation of the traditional gong. Its concentric-circle engraving, inspired by the Tibetan mantra " Om Mani Padme Hum ", gives it a strong identity without distracting the instrument from its primary purpose: producing a warm, stable and long-lasting sound. Within a range of gongs dedicated to meditation, this model stands out for its artisanal character, carefully crafted finishing and versatility.

Who this gong is for

This Chau gong is suitable for both the beginner practitioner and the experienced musician or sound therapist. Its 60 cm diameter delivers genuine sonic breadth without requiring the expertise needed to handle a very large orchestral gong. It is therefore perfectly suited to anyone wishing to discover resonance work, learn to manage dynamic swells and explore more subtle striking techniques.

It will naturally find its place in meditation, yoga, relaxation and sound bath sessions, as well as in film music, ambient textures, stage performances and certain contemporary percussion setups. Its warm character and generous sustain make it an excellent choice for creating an immersive, slow and deep atmosphere.

Technical
