sennheiser-evolution-e-845-208232
Evolution E 845

A Model Designed for the Stage in the "Evolution" Spirit

The Sennheiser e 845 is clearly oriented towards live performance: a robust dynamic microphone designed to provide reliable sound capture under real conditions (tight stages, high volume, proximity to monitors). Its supercardioid directivity naturally places it in the category of vocal microphones that prioritize feedback control and source separation, while maintaining consistent reproduction when the performer varies their distance from the microphone.

In a band setup, this positioning is particularly appreciated: the voice remains clear, the signal stays clean, and the overall balance is easier to maintain in the mix without requiring perfect microphone technique. It is a relevant choice for those seeking a serious, effective, and consistent stage microphone from one concert to another.

For Whom and For What Uses?

The e 845 is primarily aimed at singers and backing vocalists, hosts, and speakers on stage or in rooms where the main goal is to achieve a present voice while reducing the capture of peripheral elements. Thanks to its supercardioid directivity, it is well suited for noisy stages, small stages where amplifiers are close, and situations where maximum control over sound reinforcement is desired.

It is also comfortable for rehearsals in rehearsal spaces, concerts, DJ/MC performances, or events, as long as an XLR connection and an appropriate audio chain (mixer, mic preamp, interface) are used. Its sensitivity and proximity behavior allow for a denser voice when close, while maintaining an exploitable result even when the performer moves slightly away.

Technical specifications

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Category

wired microphone

Capsule

dynamic

Directivity

supercardioid

Color

Black

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0984/0872/6803/files/0c2f49fe328e461ac8f6dee173cb26efec1357f1_MICRO_SENNHEISER_E845.jpg?v=1792647788
