yamaha-ku100-pedale-grosse-caisse-silent-pour-dtx400k-207012
KU100 - Bass Drum Pedal Silent For DTX400K

Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

Designed to accompany the launch of Yamaha's DTX400 electronic drum sets, the KU100 establishes itself as the brand's "silent" option for the kick drum. It positions itself as a practical and affordable solution for drummers who want to enjoy Yamaha's realism while controlling volume and vibrations at home.

Who This Instrument Is For

The KU100 is suitable for beginners as well as intermediate players seeking a credible pedal feel without the noise of a striking pad. It is particularly well-suited for daily rehearsals, home lessons, and styles requiring fine dynamic control (pop, funk, RnB, electro), while remaining responsive enough for moderate rock playing.

Features and Innovations

This controller relies on a precise velocity sensor to translate your foot's force into consistent dynamic levels, offering a wide expressive range. Its compact design reduces structural noise and limits resonance transmitted to the floor. The stable, non-slip playing surface ensures consistent response, while compatibility with DTX400 modules allows for simple and reliable plug-and-play integration.

Sound

On an electronic drum set, the "sound" depends on the module. The KU100 excels in trigger fidelity: velocity variations are transmitted accurately, enhancing the quality of the DTX module's samples and kits. The result: sharp attacks, clear ghost notes, and smooth crescendos for expressive playing even at very low volume. Mechanical impact reduction limits unwanted noise, making nuances clearer at low volume.

Technical specifications

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Category

trigger

Inputs

6.35mm jack

Type

bass drum

Color

Black

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Recommendation

"check your module's compatibility before purchasing a new pad or controller."

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0984/0872/6803/files/ab169d463758ec2e08c450f3ee486255d18ec629_YAMAHA_KU100.jpg?v=1792556840
