Developed with the assistance of drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, the A Custom range quickly established itself as one of Zildjian's cornerstones thanks to a sought-after balance between clarity, musicality, and versatility. Within this family, the 14-inch EFX holds a specific place: that of an effect cymbal dedicated to texture, designed to enrich a "standard" set with a more edgy and raw signature.

Who This Drum/Instrument Is For

The A Custom 14-inch EFX is aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers who want to add a truly expressive effect cymbal without sacrificing definition. It is particularly suitable for contexts where short, incisive accents are sought: modern rock, pop, fusion, funk, metal (for punctuations), as well as urban and electro-acoustic music where the cymbal becomes a sound design element. In rehearsal as well as on stage, it responds quickly and sits easily in the mix, making it very useful for drummers who build their breaks on contrasts of texture.

Technical specifications

<colgroup><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"><col style="width:25%"></colgroup>

Serie

A Custom

Thickness

extra thin

Category

effect

Hammering

No

Cymbal diameter

14 "

Color

Bronze

Material

B20

Finishing

Glossy

Sound

shiny, medium

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0984/0872/6803/files/a810ddd69b3b27235812c27dc4ff664a87bac386_PZI_A20814.png?v=1793904427
