Sound

The solid spruce top provides a quick response, more nuances, and a better sense of dynamics than a laminated top, particularly appreciable on a compact instrument. The spruce back and sides promote a coherent sound with clear attacks and good definition in the low spectrum. The okoumé neck contributes to stability and overall balance, while the walnut fingerboard and bridge add a warm feel and pleasant grain. Once plugged in, the EQ-7B preamp allows quick adjustment of bass, mids, and treble to adapt to the amp, PA, or mix, while maintaining immediate tuning control via the built-in tuner.
