A Cobra Designed for the Tele: The Logical Evolution of a Popular Model
Born "on demand" from guitarists, the Cobra T takes the spirit of the Cobra Coil for Strat and adapts it to the personality of a Telecaster. Bare Knuckle retained the elements that made the Strat version successful while reworking the coil to provide the Tele bridge with more depth, more body, and a significantly stronger bite.
For What Type of Guitarist and Styles?
If you like the sharpness of a Tele but want more power to drive an amp (or pedals) without switching to a humbucker, this pickup is made for you. It excels in Blues, Hard Rock, Progressive, Shred, and Heavy Metal, while remaining dynamic and expressive when you play with volume and right-hand attack.
A High Gain Design That Remains Articulate
The Cobra T uses nickel-plated steel blades combined with custom-sized ceramic magnets. The result: generous output, a defined and focused low end, rich and smooth mids, and highs that are both bright and solid. Despite its modern and progressive character, it remains a true single coil capable of preserving the clarity, attack, and extended response expected from a Telecaster.
