This tuner supports 7-string guitars and 6-string basses. Its tuning range extends from C0 (16.35 Hz) to C8 (4,186 Hz).
What drop tunings are available?
The Guitar Flat mode allows tuning down by up to six semitones from standard tuning. The available modes also include Chromatic Flat x2, Guitar Flat x2, and Bass Flat x3.
Does the TU-3S have a footswitch?
The absence of a footswitch enables a compact size of 73 × 84 × 56 mm, designed for integration into a dedicated loop or switching system.
What is the tuning accuracy and display readability?
The specified accuracy is ±1 cent, with a reference pitch adjustable from 436 to 445 Hz in 1 Hz steps. Two display modes are offered: centered mode and Stream mode. The latter uses fast scrolling to facilitate reading on stage.
Is the bypass buffered and can it power other pedals?
The signal passes through a buffered bypass with an input impedance of 1 MΩ. The DC OUT output allows daisy-chaining power to up to seven BOSS pedals using a compatible cable.
