A Modern Instrument Designed for Mobile Practice
The Carry On belongs to the family of digital wind instruments (also called wind controllers): it offers the playing sensations of a wind instrument while benefiting from the advantages of digital technology. This compact format meets a very current need for musicians and students: to be able to work on timing, articulation, and breath control at any time, while having access to multiple sound colors without changing instruments.
For Whom and in Which Styles?
Accessible from the beginner level (progressive handling, sensitivity settings), the Carry On is also very suitable for intermediate and advanced players looking for a warm-up tool, technical practice, or creative work. It adapts to many genres: jazz and contemporary music (for improvisation and phrasing practice), pop, funk, electronic (via MIDI control), as well as marching band or classical for daily fingering and note attack rehearsal.
Sound and Design
Like all digital wind instruments, the Carry On does not produce an acoustic sound through a bore and bell but translates your playing through breath (breath sensor) and fingerings (simulated key and hole combinations). The 3 breath sensitivity levels allow you to adjust the response: more sensitive for light and expressive playing, or more stable to facilitate note production and dynamic control. For comfort, the silicone mouthpiece is removable, washable, and designed for easy hygiene, especially with intensive use (study, rehearsal, transport).

Questions frequently asked
Can the Carry On Digital Wind Instrument White be played with headphones?
The 3.5 mm jack output allows connection of headphones or earphones for practice without using the built-in speaker.
