As the direct successor to the PX-S1000, it retains the slim profile that defined the series while providing a more refined ergonomics, a more up-to-date integration (notably regarding Bluetooth and connections), and sound details oriented towards realism to meet today's needs: daily practice, recording, rehearsals, and small gigs.

Keyboard Design

With its 88 standard keys and "Scaled Hammer Action" mechanism, the PX-S1100 replicates the logic of a grand piano: a firmer touch in the bass and lighter in the treble, allowing for natural dynamic control. The velocity sensitivity enables expression from controlled pianissimi to more forceful attacks, useful in both classical and pop styles. To enhance realism, Casio adds elements such as hammer response simulation, Key-Off Simulation, and key and damper noises, contributing to a more organic playing sensation, especially when using headphones.

Sound Quality

The AiR (Acoustic and Intelligent Resonator) multidimensional morphing sound generator is designed to reproduce the timbre's evolution over time, taking into account attack, sustain, and note release. The 18 tones cover essentials for playing, composing, and accompanying: grand pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, and complementary colors. The 192-note polyphony ensures comfortable note holding, even with sustain pedal, dense chords, and layer superpositions. String and damper resonances enhance depth, while the built-in stereo speaker system offers a clear sound image for home use and a balanced output for long practice sessions without fatigue.
