A "Vintage" Spirit Modernized by Thermo Curing

With its Sunburst finish and traditional lutherie, the E20OOSS-TC fits within the aesthetic of characterful compact folk guitars. The thermal treatment of the top (Thermo Cured) aims to bring the responsiveness and stability of matured wood closer, for a broader, drier, and more immediate sound while retaining the typical power reserve of Adirondack spruce.

For Which Guitarists and Styles?

Thanks to its comfortable 00 size and quick response, this guitar is particularly suited for intermediate to advanced players seeking nuance and articulation. It excels in fingerpicking, folk, blues, acoustic picking, and vocal accompaniment, offering excellent note-to-note clarity. Its shorter scale length (24.75" / 629 mm) contributes to a smooth and expressive playing feel, ideal for light bends and rich chords.

Sound Characteristics

The thermo-treated Adirondack spruce solid top delivers a clear attack, wide dynamic range, and projection that remains clean even when played loudly. The solid rosewood back and sides enrich the spectrum with deep lows, bright highs, and long sustain, while adding complex harmonics. The hand-scalloped X bracing allows the top to vibrate more freely: the guitar responds quickly to touch, with a sense of openness and beautiful midrange breathability, perfect for both fingerstyle and pick playing.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

To preserve its tonal balance, a set of steel acoustic strings (phosphor bronze type) is perfectly suited; using light gauge provides a soft touch, while light-medium offers more power and sustain. A folk guitar capo and a chromatic tuner ideally complement daily use.
