The tone

The laminated maple construction (top, back, and sides) provides a clear attack, good definition, and controlled low end, while the thin body retains an "airy" feel and excellent response to dynamics. The Lollar Dog Ear P-90s deliver an open and articulate sound: at the neck position, you get round lows and smooth highs, perfect for rich chords; at the bridge, the tone becomes more biting, ideal for riffs and leads with a vintage grain. The whole setup remains very responsive to volume and tone adjustments, allowing effortless transitions from warm clean to expressive crunch.

Recommended compatible accessories

To stay as close as possible to the original setup, favor a set of D'Addario NYXL 0.011 - 0.049 strings (same gauge). A standard instrument jack cable is suitable for the Switchcraft output.
