This electric bass is aimed at intermediate to advanced bassists seeking a responsive, comfortable Jazz Bass capable of covering multiple genres. The JJ configuration and separate controls are perfect for funk, pop, indie, rock, and both vintage-style grooves and more defined sounds, especially fingerstyle or palm-muted playing with flatwound strings.

The Sound

The alder body provides a natural balance with firm lows and clear mids, while the maple neck enhances attack and precision. The rosewood fingerboard slightly softens the extreme highs and promotes a rounder tone, ideal for expressive lines. The Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups in single Jazz Bass format, here in a hum-cancelling version, deliver a detailed and percussive sound while reducing background noise. Thanks to the concentric controls (volume and tone for each pickup), you can precisely adjust the neck pickup's presence (warmth, depth) and the bridge pickup's definition and bite to shift from a mellow groove to a punchier sound without losing control.

This bass comes with a Deluxe Gig Bag. To maintain the original feel and balance, you can opt for flatwound strings in gauge .048-.095 (4-string set) when replacing strings.
