The selected alder body provides a very Fender balance: clear mids, tight lows, and present highs, perfect for cutting through a mix. The Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups at the neck and middle deliver the snap and definition of a Strat with reduced noise, useful both in the studio and on stage. At the bridge, the Haymaker humbucker adds output level, sustain, and a denser attack for riffs and leads. The S-1 switch allows splitting the humbucker from the volume knob to approach more "single-coil" textures when you want to regain a sharper tone.

This guitar comes with a Deluxe Molded Case. To maintain the original feel, you can stick with a gauge of .009-.042 (Fender USA 250L Nickel Plated Steel type). A 1/8 Allen wrench is recommended for truss rod adjustment.
