A Pro Telecaster, Continuing a Fender Icon
The Fender American Professional II Telecaster is part of over seventy years of Telecaster evolution, retaining the DNA that made it famous (clear attack, definition, dynamics) while integrating improvements designed for today's demands. Positioned in the American Professional II range, it aims for the "workhorse instrument" standard: an immediate sense of familiarity, meticulous finishes, and ergonomic details that make a difference daily.
For Whom and Which Styles?
This electric guitar is intended for intermediate to expert guitarists seeking a reliable, versatile, and comfortable Telecaster for long sessions. It excels in country, blues, rock, indie, funk, and pop: clean tones for snap and precision, but also crunch for punchy rhythms and leads that cut through the mix. The sculpted heel and narrow-tall frets encourage modern playing, with easier bends and smoother solos.
The Sound
The SS configuration and V-Mod II Telecaster pickups deliver the Tele character: fast attack, present highs, articulated low-mids, and tight lows. The electronics add a true palette: the Treble Bleed preserves clarity when lowering the volume, and the Push-Push control activates a series mode for a thicker, bigger sound than a traditional Tele. The alder body promotes overall balance and great versatility, while the Top-Load/String-Through bridge allows adjustment of feel: string-through-body mounting for more sustain, or top-load for a looser tension feel and slightly softened attack.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To stay as close as possible to the original setup, choose a set of .009-.042 nickel-plated steel strings (the same gauge as factory-installed). A standard guitar strap is also suitable to secure the instrument during rehearsals and concerts.
