The tone

The alder body provides overall balance with solid mids and good definition, while the maple neck favors attack and responsiveness. The rosewood fingerboard slightly rounds off the high end and enhances the feeling of warmth, very pleasant for chord playing and melodic lines. The Player II Noiseless Tele pickups retain the typical Tele snap and precision while reducing unwanted noise, which helps in stage situations or with higher gain. The "enhanced" electronics improve control: the Treble-Bleed preserves brightness when lowering the volume, and the series mode via push/pull increases density and power, delivering a thicker and more present sound. Finally, the Modern Tele bridge with 6 brass saddles offers finer intonation and a sharp sonic character, with clear attack and good note sustain.
