The Sound
The basswood body promotes a balanced and responsive tone, with a clear attack and pleasant midrange, ideal for clean sounds and articulate crunches. The maple neck adds precision and presence, while the rosewood fingerboard slightly softens the treble for a rounder touch.
On the electronics side, the FGN BOS set (BOS-n at the neck, BOS-n RWRP in the middle, BOS-b at the bridge) covers a wide spectrum: warm and full tone at the neck, snappy and scooped sounds in the intermediate positions, and more bite at the bridge. The controls of 1 Volume, 2 Tone and the 5-position switch allow fine adjustment of the balance between brightness, thickness, and dynamics depending on the amp and effects.
