It excels in folk, pop, acoustic rock, and songwriting when a full and bright sound is desired, while also being very convincing for precise fingerpicking thanks to its clarity. The cutaway facilitates playing high up the neck, a real plus for arrangements and melodic lines.

Sound

The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and flamed maple (sides and back) delivers a clear, tight, and very articulate tonal signature, perfect for a 12-string: spruce provides attack and dynamics, while maple enhances brightness and note separation. The arched back boosts projection and sustain, with an "immediate response" feel that helps the guitar cut through the mix. The OX bracing contributes to this stability and robustness, maintaining the bold and powerful character typical of jumbos.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

The guitar comes factory-strung with D'Addario XTAPB1047-12 (coated phosphor bronze, light gauge 0.010 - 0.047): if you want to keep the intended feel and tension balance, sticking to an equivalent gauge in 12-string sets is the safest choice. Case/cover not included.
