Summary of This Method

The Violonrama Method is a particularly progressive violin method, designed to support the student in solid and lasting learning while facilitating teacher-student duo work. Created by Bruno Garlej, it is based on a coherent and structured plan so that the student can easily navigate their path, identify objectives, and measure progress at each stage.

Throughout the pages, the approach alternates daily exercises specifically focused on the right hand (bow control, consistency, articulation) and the left hand (placement, coordination, precision), with short and stimulating musical content: short études, caprices, and sequences designed to anchor the fundamentals. The method also offers incentives for improvisation, an effective way to develop inner listening, creativity, and rhythmic ease, while making practice more lively.

To strengthen musicality and intonation, intermediate stages punctuate the learning process, as well as teacher/student duets that encourage listening, setup, and ear training in real situations. The whole is designed to maintain motivation and guide the student toward an emblematic goal: the famous Boléro by Ravel, presented as a milestone to reach at the end of the journey.

Finally, the Violonrama Method stands out with a strong aesthetic signature : a search for musicality in the pedagogical content and an inspiring visual universe thanks to numerous master paintings dedicated to the violin, all presented in a clear and airy layout. The book is announced with color illustrations, spiral binding, and non-reflective paper, designed and manufactured in France for comfortable reading and practice at the music stand.
