A New Chapter in the POLAR Series
With the MK2 version, HK Audio refines its portable column system concept by redesigning the assembly mechanics and acoustics. The aluminum-profiled column limits resonances and ensures faithful reproduction of voices and instruments. The wooden bass cabinet, more rigid and voluminous, emphasizes cabinet physics to deliver deep bass without artificial enhancement.

The POLAR MK2 is aimed at mobile DJs, acoustic duos, keyboardists, speakers, and venues hosting seated or standing audiences. The lower element can serve as a riser or be removed to bring the source closer to seated listeners, optimizing coverage and intelligibility.

The amplifier delivers 2000 W peak power and the maximum announced SPL reaches 130 dB peak. The frequency response extends from 38 Hz to 20 kHz thanks to the 12-inch subwoofer and the column.
Can microphones, guitar, and DJ source be connected?
The 4-channel mixer features two XLR/jack mic/line inputs with switchable phantom power, a high-impedance instrument input, and a stereo RCA AUX input. An XLR mix out allows sending the mix to external equipment.
Is the column suitable for seated audience sound reinforcement?
The lower column element can be removed to bring the sound source closer to seated listeners. The dispersion of 120° x 30° is achieved by six 3-inch midrange drivers and a 1-inch horn tweeter.
Can two systems operate in stereo without cables?
The Bluetooth TWS function allows pairing two POLAR MK2 systems to play a source in stereo without an audio cable connection.
