With its 100% solid African mahogany construction, the AAM740E-LG favors a dense midrange, clear highs, and firm lows, ideal for standing out in a mix without losing its organic character. The X-M bracing enhances responsiveness and note sustain, while the A.I.R. port improves the player's feedback sensation and expands dynamics. The bone nuts and Macassar ebony scalloped bridge promote a crisp attack and clean sustain. Plugged in, the combination of T-bar under nut (definition) + Contact pickup (body and percussiveness) delivers a more "microphone-like" and less artificial sound, with separate controls and a Mono/Stereo output designed for advanced setups.
