Sound

The pair of Super 58 humbuckers (Alnico, passive) delivers a vintage color: full but controlled lows, singing mids, and smooth highs without harshness. The neck position provides ideal warmth for jazz lines and velvety arpeggios, while the bridge pickup offers more bite for blues/rock. The 3-position selector allows quick switching between pickups or combining them, and the Tri-sound selector dedicated to the neck pickup expands the palette (series/parallel/split) to vary clarity and density levels. Regarding sustain and stability, the Gibraltar Artist system (lightweight aluminum frame + zinc saddles) and the Quik Change III tailpiece promote a natural response and rich note hold, while remaining comfortable under the right hand.
