Features and Functionalities
The piezo sensor is placed under the saddle to directly capture the vibrations of the soundboard and bridge, while the Class A preamp housed in the jack optimizes impedance and sensitivity. The jack also serves as a strap button for a clean integration. The volume knob, fixed on the inner side of the soundhole, allows real-time level adjustment without altering the guitar's aesthetics.

The piezo under-saddle pickup is designed for classical and folk guitars. Its installation is placed under the bridge saddle.
Is it necessary to modify the guitar to install this system?
The installation uses the original strap button hole to mount the preamp jack. Widening this hole may be necessary depending on the guitar. The pickup is fixed under the saddle and the volume knob is placed on the inside face, at the edge of the soundhole.
What battery is required for the LR Baggs Element Active?
The power supply requires a 9 V battery, not included.
What controls are accessible from the soundhole?
A volume knob is accessible at the edge of the soundhole, on the inside face of the guitar. This version does not include an onboard equalizer.
Is the preamp integrated into the system?
