Advanced Protection: SharkSkin, High-Density EVA, and Targeted Reinforcements
The external SharkSkin coating, developed by Mono, acts as an effective barrier against moisture and wear. Inside, the 20 mm EVA foam absorbs shocks, while the base features an additional 10 mm EVA reinforcement designed to absorb impacts from rough placement (or drops). The velvet lining and reinforcements around the tailpiece and bridge add a welcome layer of security to protect contact and pressure points.
HeadLock: No More "Whiplash" for Your Instrument
The head and head/neck joint are often the first casualties in a shock. The M80 Sleeve V2 incorporates a lightweight version of the HeadLock : a molded EVA rubber block that holds the neck in a profiled groove when the bass is inserted.
