The HT ("Heat Treated") technology, the result of years of R&D on strings and magnets, positions this model as the most dynamic and versatile option in the Music Man SSS range, without sacrificing timeless aesthetics and playability.

The Sound
The HT SSS set combines an overwound bridge pickup (plain enamel wire) for sharp and muscular highs, with underwound neck/middle pickups (heavy formvar wire) for a more traditional tone. The patented pole pieces and large neodymium magnet ensure attack, definition, and bass response. The 5 positions offer complementary combinations: precise clarity in intermediate positions, increased projection and sustain at the bridge. The +20 dB boost and buffered output maintain tonal balance at any volume, from studio to stage.
