What Stereoplacer 3 Is For
Stereoplacer 3 is a frequency-based stereo placement plugin. It allows targeting specific bands and moving them within the panorama while maintaining the overall balance of the source. It is perfect for correcting recordings, repositioning complex elements, panning an instrument without destabilizing the low end, or adding stereo detail to originally mono material.
Main Features
Ultra-Targeted Frequency Placement
Choose the frequencies to correct, isolate them with solo controls, then move them exactly where you want in the stereo field. Other regions remain intact, avoiding the usual compromises of a traditional EQ or pan.
Curves and Linked Harmonics
Work with bell and high/low shelf curves and add harmonic partials linked to the same "root" node. This lets you redistribute stereo energy with great musicality or perform powerful corrections, including moving heavily panned frequencies from one side to the other.
Intelligent Low-End Management
Keep bass frequencies centered for image stability while moving the attack (directional frequencies) using a shelf. Conversely, bring stray lows back to center without altering the entire track, ideal for bass lines or kick drums.
