What Polyverse Comet Is For
Designed for creating expansive reverbs and airy textures, Comet excels on vocals, melodic instruments, and percussion. It is ideal for ambient sound design, electronic and cinematic music, as well as adding breadth and depth to effects buses. Rather than simulating a real room, it sculpts an expressive reverb that enhances the source and sits naturally in the mix.
Main Features
Expressive Morphing and Creative Workflows
Comet allows you to save up to five variations of the same effect and slide continuously between them. Transitions become a musical parameter in their own right, perfect for builds, drops, and evolving passages. Lockable parameters ensure consistency of elements you want to preserve throughout the morphing.
Reinvented Algorithm, Sumptuous Tails
Comet's algorithm delivers immediate density, smooth tails, and wide tonalities across all sizes. The built-in detune enriches the stereo image while the internal saturation, driven by input gain, adds density and warmth to bring out the source without harshness.
Rhythmic Control and Studio Integration
Pre-Delay and Glide can be set in milliseconds or rhythmic divisions to lock the space to tempo. Each parameter is addressable via MIDI and CV, facilitating advanced automation, live performance, and integration within any modern DAW environment.

Questions frequently asked
Is Polyverse Comet compatible with Mac and Windows?
The software is downloadable and compatible with Mac OS X 10.9 as well as Windows.
How many presets can be morphed?
Up to five variations of the same effect can be saved. Continuous sliding between these five states allows for evolving transitions. Lockable parameters preserve the selected settings during morphing.
Can the Pre-Delay be tempo-synced?
Both Pre-Delay and Glide can be set in milliseconds or rhythmic divisions to align the reverb with the project tempo.
Can the reverb be automated via MIDI or CV?
Every parameter is addressable via MIDI and CV. This assignment enables detailed automation within a modern DAW and use during performances.
What type of reverb is suitable for vocals and ambient sound design?
The algorithm produces immediate density and smooth tails, without attempting to emulate a real space. The detune widens the stereo image, while the internal saturation driven by input gain adds density.
