A discreet link to recover the "guitar in the amp" feel
Guitar amplifiers generally offer a high-impedance input, ideal for passive pickups. Conversely, many active inputs use a lower impedance, which can thin out the sound and make it harsher. The Dragster is simply placed between the guitar and the active input to recreate the load expected by your pickups, as if you were plugged directly into an amp.
Who is the Dragster for, and when to use it?
The Dragster is designed for guitarists using a wireless system, digital processors, a console, an audio interface, or any device with an active input, who want to preserve the warmth, perceived level, and musicality of passive pickups. It is also relevant in the studio to ensure a consistent sound during live takes.
"Drag" Adjustment: Tune Your Pickups' Response, Not Your Playing
A unique, results-oriented control
Thanks to its knob, you adjust the "drag" level to find the ideal balance between clarity, body, and attack. The goal is simple: to recover a more organic response with a more natural sound, even when going through a modern signal chain.
Compact, practical, ready to follow your setup
With its lightweight aluminum construction and jack connectors, the Dragster stays out of the way: it can be attached to the strap (ideal with a wireless transmitter) or placed in a pedalboard to always stay in position.

Questions frequently asked
Is the Radial Dragster compatible with a guitar that has passive pickups?
With passive pickups, the impedance corrector recreates the expected load when the signal chain includes an active input. The Drag knob allows adjustment of the response between clarity, body, and attack. Connections are made via jack input and output.
Can this impedance corrector be used with a wireless system?
Its aluminum construction and dimensions of 60 x 53 x 25 mm allow it to be attached to a strap, near a wireless transmitter.
Is the Dragster suitable for an audio interface or a mixing console?
Placed between the guitar and an active input of an audio interface or console, this pedal aims to preserve the perceived level and warmth of passive pickups. Its single control is dedicated to impedance correction.
How should the Drag knob be adjusted?
The Drag control modifies the level of impedance correction to adjust the load applied to passive pickups. It allows finding a balance between attack and body of the sound.
Can the Dragster remain on a pedalboard?
Thanks to its size of 60 x 53 x 25 mm and its jack connectors, it can be integrated into a pedalboard. The bypass is announced, with a blue finish.
