A module designed for the RockBoard ecosystem and modern pedalboards

The PowerMOD 150 embodies RockBoard's philosophy: compact modules that integrate close to the pedalboard to reduce clutter and simplify cabling. Designed to fit directly into the MOD slot (found on most RockBoard pedalboards), it keeps your setup neat and portable while remaining compatible with third-party pedalboards. The goal is clear: maintain pedalboard ergonomics while adding the power and outputs needed for rehearsals, home use, or live performance.

Who the PowerMOD 150 is for and its ideal uses

The Rockboard PowerMOD 150 targets musicians seeking a quick and reliable "pedalboard-to-speaker" solution. It's especially suitable if you already use a pedalboard as the center of your sound (effects, preamp, modeler, or pedal chain) and want to power a speaker without hauling a traditional amplifier. The headphone output facilitates silent practice, the AUX IN lets you play along with backing tracks, and the balanced DI XLR output simplifies sending the signal to a mixing console or interface, all while keeping control at your feet.

Key features: power, EQ, and connectivity built for the gig

Class D amplification: compact format, instant response

With its Class D transistor (solid-state) amplification circuit, the PowerMOD 150 emphasizes a lightweight format and power reserve suited for pedalboard setups. This design enables simple integration into a modern rig while maintaining straightforward use: plug in, adjust, play. The result is a module that fades into the background of your setup but steps up when you need to drive a speaker.

3-band EQ: carve your place in the mix

The front-panel Low / Mid / High EQ lets you quickly correct room acoustics, brighten a muddy sound, or reinforce the low end. In real-world situations (rehearsal, stage, home studio), these quick adjustments are invaluable: no need to dive into menus or alter the entire chain, you fine-tune at the source, right at the amplifier.

Switchable Cab-Sim and Mute: practical functions, instantly accessible

The Cab-Sim switch provides an activatable/deactivatable cabinet simulation, useful for adapting the output to full-range speakers and various PA systems. The front-panel Mute complements the "live-ready" approach: instantly cut the signal to plug, unplug, or switch instruments more smoothly.

Pedalboard-oriented connectivity: from speaker output to DI

The PowerMOD 150 consolidates essential connections on the front panel for easy access once mounted. You get a 6.35mm Jack speaker output, a headphone output, a 3.5mm AUX IN for external audio sources, and a balanced DI XLR output for sending to a mixing desk. Inputs and power supply connections are located at the rear for discreet cabling under the pedalboard.
