MIDI keyboards are abundant on the market but are often bulky or of average quality. The Roland A-49 solves these two problems by offering a MIDI controller with an excellent quality keyboard featuring standard-sized keys while remaining lightweight and compact. Available in pearly white or black finish, the A-49 proves that a portable keyboard does not necessarily have to sacrifice response and expressiveness.
The keys of the Roland A-49 are rounded to provide faster response and perfect glissandi. Special attention has been given to eliminating mechanical noise and vertical vibrations of the keyboard. This makes it a keyboard appreciated by the most demanding professionals.
The D-BEAM controller allows for spectacular effects by moving the hand over an invisible infrared beam. Pressing the SuperNATURAL button automatically assigns the main expression parameters of modules like the INTEGRA-7 to the A-49's controllers. This also makes it an excellent second keyboard for synthesizers with SuperNATURAL sounds, such as the JUPITER-80 and JUPITER-50.
