The Roland FANTOM 6 EX is aimed at advanced and professional keyboardists, producers, film composers, and sound designers who want a central instrument both in the studio and on stage. It excels in electro, techno, ambient, synthwave, pop, funk, RnB, and film scoring, thanks to its detailed pianos, expressive organs, iconic synths, and hybrid textures. The ACB expansions for JUPITER-8, SH-101, and JX-3P are included. Modeling expansions also feature n/zyme, JD-800, JUNO-106, JUPITER-8, JX-8P, and SH-101.

The keyboard has 61 full-size semi-weighted keys with velocity sensitivity.
Can this workstation control a modular system?
Two CV/Gate outputs enable control of modular gear. The connectivity also includes an audio input, audio/MIDI USB, and a 16x3 audio/MIDI USB interface. Dedicated control modes are available for Ableton Live, Logic Pro, MainStage, Cubase, and Studio One.
Does sampling allow the creation of multi-sampled instruments?
It is possible to create multisamples and assign samples according to keyboard pitch. One Shot playback is supported, with up to 352 samples layered per sound.
Which sound engines are available?
Five generators are included: ACB, ZEN-Core, V-Piano, SuperNATURAL, and Virtual ToneWheel. The internal library exceeds 7,000 sounds, and the maximum polyphony reaches 256 voices.
