An electric guitar designed for performance: balance between tradition and modernity

With its set neck construction and mahogany/maple combination, this guitar fits within the DNA of great electric guitars with generous sustain, while adopting decidedly modern choices: Pale Moon ebony fingerboard, compound radius, and high-end Floyd Rose. The result: a responsive, stable, and expressive playing platform designed to withstand intense playing.

For which guitarists and styles?

This guitar is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking solid tuning stability with vibrato, fast playability, and effective saturated tones. It excels in hard rock, metal, modern rock, melodic solos, and precise riffs. The Sustainiac also opens the door to more atmospheric textures, sustained notes, and controlled harmonics.

The sound

The mahogany body provides a mid-rich foundation, with a sense of density and natural sustain enhanced by the set neck. The flamed maple top adds attack and definition, useful for keeping chords clear under heavy saturation. The Pale Moon ebony fingerboard further enhances precision: crisp attacks, well-held lows, and clear highs for fast passages.

On the electronics side, the Seymour Duncan '78 pickup is known for its rock character: dynamic, sharp just enough, and very responsive to right-hand playing. Paired with the Sustainiac, you get a guitar capable of going from a muscular, direct sound to spectacular note sustains, ideal for leads. The Floyd Rose 1500 Locking promotes stable attack and precise intonation even after intensive vibrato use.

Recommended compatible accessories

This guitar comes stock with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 strings in gauge .010-.046: a coherent choice to maintain the balance between playing comfort, tuning stability, and Floyd Rose response. For transport, the 1702 SGR-E-1 Hardcase rigid case is indicated as compatible (sold separately).
