A Special Edition E-1, Designed to Stand Out
This Schecter E-1 is part of small series where the brand allows itself unique colors and "surprise" configurations. Here, the goal is clear: an electric guitar with a premium look (flamed maple top, carbon fiber binding) and uncompromising equipment, designed to deliver power while remaining highly playable.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Intended for intermediate to expert guitarists, this E-1 targets styles where precision and expressiveness matter: metal, hard rock, modern rock, shred, singing solos, and ambient textures. The Floyd Rose 1500 is ideal for dives, extreme vibratos, and sustained chords, while the Sustainiac opens the door to controlled pads and harmonics.
Sound
The mahogany body combined with the flamed maple top provides a warm and dense foundation with added attack and definition, helping to maintain clear palm mutes and well-defined leads. The ebony fingerboard enhances precision, offering a fast response and tight grain, perfect for modern techniques. Regarding pickups, the Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI delivers a powerful and articulate sound, while the Sustainiac allows transforming a note into controlled sustain, from the most "natural" to harmonics emphasized via its modes. The whole setup is supported by active electronics, designed to maintain level and clarity even in heavy tunings.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To maintain the original configuration, you can use a set of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 2221 strings. Since the active electronics require a 9V battery, having a spare is recommended. For transport, the JLX/E-1 case (sold separately) is the option designed for this format.
