GLX-D+: the new generation officially succeeding the GLX-D and GLX-D Advanced

With GLX-D+, Shure advances its wireless range by officially replacing the GLX-D and GLX-D Advanced systems. The goal is clear: to offer a more seamless wireless experience through a wider spectrum range and enhanced RF performance. The GLXD+FMZ4-LCE is at the heart of this improvement by centralizing automatic frequency management for all connected receivers, enhancing reliability and capacity when multiple systems need to coexist.

For demanding stages, HF-equipped bands, and stress-free events

The Shure GLXD+FMZ4-LCE is designed for musicians, technicians, providers, and presenters working with multiple RF links who want to avoid manual adjustments. Whether in concerts, conferences, houses of worship, or fixed installations, this frequency manager secures RF coordination and increases the number of simultaneous channels while maintaining simple and quick deployment.

Optimized RF management: more bandwidth, more channels, more peace of mind

The strength of the GLX-D+ series lies in its dual-band wireless technology capable of operating at 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. This approach significantly expands the available bandwidth and helps avoid interference for reliable, lossless sound. In this context, the GLXD+FMZ4-LCE plays a strategic role: it ensures automatic dual-band frequency management for connected receivers to improve overall RF performance.

More simultaneous systems thanks to centralized management

One of the major advantages of GLX-D+ concerns the density of systems usable simultaneously. With the GLXD+FMZ4-LCE, the total number of channels managed rises to 11 simultaneous systems under normal operation, and up to 16 in optimal conditions. This is a tangible benefit when multiple wireless microphones and instrument links must coexist on the same stage with professional-level requirements.

Cascade connection: an expandable architecture

For larger configurations, the cascade connection allows linking up to 3 frequency managers to group them into a single management unit, controlling up to 16 receivers. This modular logic is ideal if your HF inventory grows: you structure your system without starting over, while maintaining coherent and automated management.
