A 19-inch Rack Extension Designed for Live and Studio Use
The SKB REX6 is the ideal solution if your Mighty GigRig system is running out of space but you want to maintain the same transport and installation logic. Once attached to the SKB19-R1406, this extension creates a coherent, easy-to-handle unit perfectly suited for intensive stage use, event performances, or mobile studios. Its major advantage lies in the ergonomics of your cabling: the internal top passage simplifies connections to the base, avoids unplugging everything between gigs, and protects your connectors when the rack is closed. Furthermore, adding optional rear rack rails allows you to organize your gear on both sides and build a complete configuration reaching up to 24U total, while remaining in a wheeled format ready to go.
