An Evolution of the Rample, Optimized for Precision and Transparency
The Rample Turbo builds on the DNA of the original Rample by pushing further on the essentials: cleaner and more faithful sound reproduction. Released in September 2025, it features a completely redesigned DAC and analog audio path, offering better definition in the high frequencies and greatly reduced noise floor, especially appreciated in dense mixes. It remains compatible with the same firmware as the MK1 version, while visually distinguished by a multicolor black front panel and a holographic serial number.
Who It's For and Where the Rample Turbo Excels
This module is aimed at intermediate to expert modular musicians seeking a reliable and expressive sample source without complicating the patch. Perfect for techno, electro, ambient, synthwave, or sound design, it allows building drum kits, textures, one-shots, FX, or even backing tracks. Thanks to CV/Gate and MIDI control, it functions equally well as a percussion module, a chromatic sampler, or a mini instrument modulated in real time.

Questions frequently asked
How many samples can be played simultaneously?
Up to 4 WAV files can be played simultaneously, each via an independent output. Streaming uses both a microSD card and internal RAM, with no specified limit on playback duration.
Is the Rample Turbo controllable via CV/Gate and MIDI?
The 4 CV inputs allow modulation of the voice parameters. MIDI control is also supported. Velocity is recognized, while MPE compatibility is not provided.
Can multilayer drum kits be created?
The multi-layer function allows stacking up to 12 samples per voice. This configuration enables building kits with more dynamic triggers.
What space and power supply should be planned for in a Eurorack system?
The module occupies 14 HP, measures 25 mm deep with its ribbon cable, and consumes 220 mA on +12 V as well as 40 mA on -12 V.
What improvements does the Squarp Instruments Rample Turbo offer?
A revised DAC and analog audio path provide better high-frequency definition and reduced noise. The black multicolor front panel and holographic serial number visually distinguish it. The firmware remains compatible with the MK1 version.
