A Nod to the Iconic Esquire, in the Sonic Line
The Squier Sonic Esquire H pays tribute to one of Fender's most iconic shapes, namely the single-pickup Esquire. Part of the Sonic series, it focuses on the essentials: Telecaster style, the reliability of a 6-saddle hardtail, and minimalist electronics designed to play without getting lost in settings.
For Which Musician and Styles?
Ideal for beginners and intermediate players seeking a simple, solid, and inspiring guitar. The ceramic humbucker delivers a high output perfect for rock, punk, garage, and modern blues. With volume and tone controls, you can go from a tight crunch to rounder sounds for riffing and lead playing.
Sound Characteristics
The ceramic humbucker in the bridge position provides a tight grain, present mids, and generous sustain, ideal for pushing an amp or overdrive pedal. The poplar body maintains a bright and balanced attack, while the maple neck offers snap and the laurel fingerboard slightly softens the highs. The top-load bridge gives a slightly looser feel and immediate attack response. With a 25.5" / 648 mm scale length and a 9.5" / 241 mm radius, you get comfortable chord holding and smooth bends.
