A Speedster Designed for Traveling Without Sacrificing Feel

The Traveler Guitar SPEEDSTER fits the brand's spirit of portable instruments: maximizing compactness while retaining the essential features of a true electric guitar. Here, the choice of a 24.75" / 629 mm scale length and a 1.75" / 44.5 mm nut width aims for a reassuring touch, close to a traditional format guitar, but in a significantly reduced body (7.5" / 190.5 mm wide without the armrest). The removable forearm support is the signature element: it provides a natural resting point for picking and plectrum playing, while remaining easy to remove to optimize portability.

Who Is It For, and What Styles?

This travel electric guitar is intended for beginner to advanced guitarists who want to play anywhere: on the road, backstage, in hotels, apartments, or simply when space is limited. Its "plug and play" approach (one pickup, two controls) also makes it enjoyable for working on right-hand precision, rhythmic placement, and intonation without getting lost in complex setups.

Regarding styles, the double rail humbucker is comfortable in rock, pop, blues, and punk, with enough output to drive an amp or interface, and decent definition for riffs and power chords. Lowering the tone control yields rounder sounds for singing leads; opening the tone increases attack for sharper rhythms.

Sound

The SPEEDSTER combines hard maple craftsmanship (body and neck) with a neck-through-body construction, which promotes a crisp attack, good note clarity, and consistent sustain despite the reduced size. Maple is known for adding precision in the mid-high frequencies: ideal for maintaining responsiveness on a compact guitar.

The double rail humbucker is designed to stay balanced even with strong bends: the "rails" continuously capture the string, helping maintain output and consistency when the note moves laterally. The passive electronics (volume and tone) keep it simple: one volume to manage gain and clean up the sound, one tone to adjust brightness, tame an overly sharp amp, or conversely let more attack through. The result: a travel guitar that sounds "electric" in the full sense and responds well to effects (overdrive, distortion, delay), while remaining easy to dial in.

Recommended Compatible Accessories

With an audio output in standard 1/4" jack format, a 1/4" instrument cable is essential for connecting to an amp, audio interface, or multi-effects unit. To stay close to the original string gauge, you can also choose 10-46 electric guitar strings (equivalent to the factory-installed D'Addario EXL110).
