Diva is a virtual synthesizer ideal for recreating the warmth of analog machines while exploring modern textures. It excels at thick basses, edgy leads, expansive pads, hypnotic sequences, and arpeggios. Perfect for synthwave, ambient, techno/house, pop, or film music, it allows both faithful emulation of classics and bold sound design through free module mixing.
Main Features
Vintage-Inspired Oscillators and Filters
Five oscillator models and five filter models capture the character of legendary synths. Oscillators offer waveform selection, octave ranges, dedicated noise, and extensive modulation options. Filters, based on real-time zero-delay feedback simulation, deliver sweeps and resonance with organic behavior, including cutoff, resonance, and fine modulations.
Envelopes, LFOs, and Modulation Matrix
Three AD(S)SR envelope models control amplitude and filter with keyboard tracking and velocity response. Two tempo-syncable LFOs with varied waveforms feature restart and phase options for perfectly timed movements. The "Modifications" page adds processors such as Invert, Add, Quantize, or Lag to sculpt creative modulations beyond the original hardware limits.
Built-In Effects and Arpeggiator
Two stereo effect slots offer chorus (3 modes), phaser (2 modes), plate reverb, delay, and rotary speaker effect to enrich space and movement. The host-syncable arpeggiator provides swing, continuous rate offset, and various patterns for inspiring sequences without leaving the plug-in.
Analog Nuance and Realism
The "Trimmers" panel adds the life of real circuits: per-voice detuning, drift, "round-robin" variations, and micro-behavioral differences combine for an authentically analog sound. Add a resizable interface (70% to 200%) and full MIDI Learn for immediate integration into your setup.
Compatibility and Microtunings
Diva integrates with most DAWs and is not standalone software. Version 1.4.5 introduces Oddsound MTS-ESP compatibility for advanced scales and microtunings, opening new harmonic colors.
