The Pro Series Teambuilt, Warwick DNA Made in Germany
Part of the Pro Series, this Teambuilt bass incorporates Warwick's lutherie codes while remaining more accessible than the Masterbuilt models. Quality control, precision machining, and hand assembly in Germany ensure exemplary consistency and remarkable longevity.
Who Is It For and What Styles?
Versatile and highly responsive, it is aimed at intermediate to expert bassists seeking a reliable instrument for both studio and stage. Its modern character excels in funk, pop, rock, metal, fusion, or gospel, with a firm and clear low B for extended chords and slap techniques.
Sound
The pair of active MEC J/J pickups delivers an articulate midrange, precise highs, and tight lows, ideal for cutting through a mix without bleeding. The MEC 2-band preamp offers simple and effective control (bass/treble concentric knob) to shape the sound from snapping slap to deep fingerstyle. The bubinga body, dense, promotes sustain and projection, while the wenge fingerboard adds attack and definition. The 2-piece bridge optimizes break angle and tuning stability, ensuring a bass that responds quickly and stays in tune.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To preserve the original character and tension, opt for 5-string long scale 34" strings with gauges .045-.135 (like the factory-installed Warwick Black Label strings). Since the bass is equipped with Warwick Security Locks, add the corresponding Security Locks strap ends to your strap for secure attachment. The Starline RockBag gig bag is included.
