The CLP-835 features the GrandTouch-S 88-key keyboard, with wooden white keys and an escapement mechanism to reproduce the subtle "let-off" sensation felt on an acoustic piano action. The response can be adjusted via an adjustable velocity sensitivity (hard 1, hard 2, medium, soft 1, soft 2) or fixed, allowing you to tailor the instrument to your technique, repertoire, and dynamics. The CLP-835's sonic character is based on samples of Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grand pianos, designed to cover a wide spectrum: precise attack, singing midrange, and deep bass. With 256-note polyphony, rich chords, fast passages, and generous pedaling remain clear.
