A Yamaha School Guitar Designed for Learning Under the Best Conditions

Yamaha school guitars are conceived as genuine musical instruments, with particular attention paid to the choice of tonewoods and finishes. The CGS103II follows this philosophy: offering a classical guitar in a size adapted for children, sturdy and consistent enough to support serious learning, lesson after lesson.

Who Is the Yamaha CGS103II 3/4 For?

This 3/4 classical guitar is primarily aimed at beginners and music school students. Its size is especially suitable for children around 8 to 10 years old (depending on their build). It is ideal for practicing fundamentals: left-hand positioning, note clarity, first chords, and melodies. Its "nylon" approach makes it relevant for classical music, learning pieces, and more broadly for singing and gentle accompaniment.

Sound

The spruce top promotes a clear attack and good precision, very useful for hearing mistakes and progressing quickly. The meranti back and sides contribute to a homogeneous and stable response, with a balanced midrange register. The nato neck provides rigidity and reliability, while the sonokeling fingerboard offers a crisp playing feel and good durability over time. The result: a student guitar with controlled projection, pleasant for daily practice and musical enough to inspire playing.
