Experienced DJs often build their setup around a dedicated mixer, also called a DJ mixer. The advantage of such equipment is to be able to blend sources, as any mixer would, but especially in diversity. Thus, a computer, CD decks / vinyls, or line-level sources can coexist around the same control surface. The DJ chooses on the fly which inputs to prioritize for the current mix, according to their preferences. Two-channel mixers are often sufficient, at least initially, for events and/or scratching. For production, mixers with greater capacity are required.

The DJM-450 is a 2-channel mixer that incorporates several elements from the DJM-900NXS2, a true club standard. It offers outstanding build quality, refined ergonomics, and full compatibility with rekordbox dj and dvs (licenses included).
Features:
- Precise equalization, smooth faders, and a durable, pleasant Magvel crossfader
- Sound Colour and Beat FX effects with parameter control
- Built-in sound card for mixing with digital decks and timecoded vinyl
- High-fidelity audio quality thanks to 64-bit digital processing
- Complete connectivity: XLR, USB, 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm headphone outputs
This model is ideal for DJs looking for versatile equipment close to club standards.

With balanced XLR outputs, a 108 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and built-in high/low pass filters, this mixer delivers impeccable audio quality both in clubs and home studios. The bundle includes Serato DJ Pro + the DVS expansion, allowing control of the software with timecoded vinyl or CDs (not included).

We stay here with the Nuo 2 from the Spaniards at Ecler, purely analog regarding the sources to mix, line levels and vinyl decks to connect at the rear via RCA. One trick though: the DJ can opt for a third source to insert into the mix, a microphone on a 6.35 jack or a classic line on RCA. A switch allows favoring one or the other depending on the moment's need. Also, the possibility to position an effect in the signal insert in Send/Return mode, each channel having a dosing potentiometer. The EQ Kill function is obtained by push buttons associated with the band to attenuate, again for each channel. The front channel offers switches managing the crossfader operation, a real plus for scratchers.

This is the counterpart to the DJM-S3 mentioned earlier, also from Pioneer DJ, this time optimized for the Rekordbox DJ software and its DVS version, the brand's mixing software. You don't change a winning team; this 250MK2 can mix computer sources, line, vinyls, as well as an external channel and a microphone on an unbalanced jack! The adjustable Color FX filter is available for the two main channels, and the EQs work as isolators (Kill) on all three bands when turned fully left. The Magvel crossfader curve and its action direction are switchable from the control surface. The sound card is 24-bit / 48 kHz type.
