Numark was founded in 1971 in New Jersey by two brothers. Over its 40-year history, Numark has always aimed to be the first to develop new technologies for DJs, whether amateurs or professionals. Anticipating the changes in DJing practices, from vinyl to digital including CD, Numark has one obsession: improving the mixing experience.

Numark has been responsible for the introduction of hundreds of innovations. Among them, the first DJ mixer with an integrated sampler (DM1775), the first professional dual-CD player (CD5020), the first hard drive DJ system (HDCD1), the first iOS DJ systems (iDJ) and the first motorized DJ control surface (CDX), which was later incorporated into the NS7 and NS7II controllers.

Today, even with a much more varied offer than at its beginnings, the company is still known for producing quality products, solidly built, with elegant style and intuitive use.
